Postdoc study:
From July of 2016, I started my postdoc study in UPSC. My project is mainly focusing on genomic selection and genome-wide association study and also competition models.
Ph. D. study:
It started from 2011 for my Ph.D study in Umea Plant Research Centre in Umeå, Sweden. My research that is improving wood quality in Norway spruce, such as pulp yeild, wood stiffness, is a fantastic work in this area. Umeå is a fantastic city for its natural landscape, incluing different beautiful taiga northern lights and midnight sun, local culture, Sami culture.
I love the nature and more the local people.
Master study:
Forest genetics is my major in Beijing Foresty University, Beijing, China. During these four years, I gradually like bird watching and the natural. When I was going to do field work, I knew it will be a good chance to realize the nature.
Undergraduate study:
When I was 21 year-old, I went to Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University, learning forestry. I selected forestry, because I thought that it can improve the environment for the country. Following the process of industrilization, I found many rivers, forests, farms pollinated seriously by industry. Meanwhile I also have a dream to let all deserts to become forests. All these reasons cause I select the forestry as my major.
About my hometown:
I was born in Zhejiang province near the Shanghai, in southern China. My hometown is Yiwu, a famous city for its small commodity trade with varying businessmen from all over the world. Now there are several direct trains from Yiwu to Europe, carrying small commodity and you can see many small commodity in any supermarket. I am proud when I see Made in Yiwu.
